Meet our new teacher – Miss Andrea Hale!

The Basics:  Hi! My name is Miss Andrea Hale, I am a small town girl who loves to read books, go to the beach and explore in the mountains. I have been all over the world and I cherish all the memories and adventures I have taken throughout my life. I still have a few more places to visit in the coming years so stay tuned for my next adventure!  I am the new Jr. High instructor at Salmon River teaching Language Arts, P.E, and Art Appreciation!  I am from a very close family. I have three siblings and two nieces. My special person in this world is Michael and he and I both love being HOME!. I look forward to this awesome year!

My Childhood:  I was born in Orem, Utah. My father was a police officer in Provo, Utah, as I was growing up. My mother stayed at home and spoiled us kids until we were old enough to go to school. Then she pursued her dream and is now teaching at Summit Academy.   We grew up celebrating family, skiing, hiking and traveling .We moved to Idaho in 2000 where we settled down in Riggins, Idaho.  My Savages and my hometown are dear to my heart!  I participated in every sport Salmon River High offered as well as all the clubs and community events.

My Education:  I am a graduate of Salmon River High, while I was there I worked in the after school program at the elementary school. It was there that I found my passion for education and my drive for teaching. I moved to the big city of Lewiston to pursue my passion in education.  I turned my tassel to celebrate my graduation from L.C.S.C. in 2014. I am currently pursing my Master of Arts in Education from Western Governors University with a plan to graduate winter of 2017. After I complete my masters I plan on taking a few years to live life.  I someday aspire to complete my PhD in Elementary Education.
